Stan Pobjoy Counterweighted Crank is a performance modification that enhances the strength and balance of an original VW 69mm forged crank.

The process starts with an original 69mm forged VW crank that is carefully inspected and tested to ensure it is suitable for modification. Counterweights are then laser cut to shape and welded into position before Stan machines them into form to brace and counterbalance the crank. The crank is then 8-doweled, surface ground, dynamically balanced and micro-polished before it is ready to rev up to 9,000rpm (race tested and proven).
